KIAMAT

The second merch series features the artwork collection by our talented colleague and friend, Ariel Victor. This series extends the visual narrative he created for our 2022 production, KIAMAT.

KIAMAT is an experimental music theater project by Soydivision Ensemble in collaboration with L_KW, co-directed and co-produced by Rabih Beaini of Morphine Records. The piece draws inspiration from the latest album of the Indonesian experimental music duo, Senyawa. The composition Kiamat (Day of Judgement), from their album Alkisah, serves as the central theme, shaping the essence of this production.



Ariel Victor Arthanto is an Indonesian animation filmmaker, director and illustrator. He specializes in 2D animation, creating playful characters and imaginative colorful worlds and is currently based in Berlin. His animated films has been screened in festivals worldwide. The most recent film, I Am A Flower (2024), tells a story of family, queer identity, and self-discovery. Among other projects, in collaboration with Soy Division, he developed visual elements and  composed them into the event’s poster illustration, zine and performance pieces for KIAMAT music theater.
